The Jagadarama Foundation, a family-owned foundation, was established by the descendants of Jagadamba Pillalamarri (she) and Ramaseshaiah Pillalamarri (he). The name "Jagadarama" combines the first parts of their names, symbolizing their unity and legacy. Translated from Sanskrit, Jagadarama means "a world of joy and peace." Jagadamba and Ramaseshaiah, a noble couple from Gurivindagunta, Andhra Pradesh, India, led lives of honesty, happiness, and service in the early 1900s. They raised their family with strong values, cultural heritage, and humanitarian principles, dedicated to helping those in need and uplifting humanity.
Their legacy of culture and values has been passed down through generations. Today, their grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and great-great-grandchildren live all over the world. The Jagadarama Foundation unites these family members, eliminating distances and ensuring the legacy continues. Although we are many, we are one family. We value education, support the underprivileged, empower small-scale entrepreneurs, and nurture diverse cultures.
In 2022, one of their sons, Madhusudana, and his wife, Sundari Pillalamarri, founded the Jagadarama Foundation on behalf of siblings, extended family members, and the next generation. This platform brings the entire family together from across the globe to do good for the world. Our foundation upholds and expands the legacy of our ancestors, ensuring their principles and values benefit humanity.
